Our Story
People’s modes of socialization have transformed all over the world and India is no exception. The transformation from physical to digital is evident from the growth in social media usage generally and in particular with the millennials. Research has shown that restrictions on people movement and lack of opportunity to socialize, during this pandemic (Covid-19), has highlighted the impact on social competence, wellbeing, and social relationships.
While there are established global and local players offering social media platforms, there is generalization and thus an information overload. As people are increasingly focusing on quality of life within a work- life balance, their “socializing time availability” is limited and therefore there is a perceived preference on niche solutions.
The mainstream social media does not always address the unique needs of some sections of the society, (eg: the marginalized classes like transgenders, divorcees) thereby stifling their development, wellbeing and progress towards a quality life.
